Cacha Pregos
In the beach of Cacha Pregos you can hire a boat ride to the dunes, the nearest island is the Isle of Love, these islands are uninhabited, their shape changes daily depending on the whims of the wind. Getting from the inn to the Isle of Love takes about 15 min walking, there you can spend as little or as much time as you like, it is recommended though that you take with you water, a hat and sun block.
The adventurous can take a boat ride in the many rivers that go in to the bay, the bay turns into a mangrove with its exuberant vegetation and sounds.
Another great activity is the navigation towards the inside of yhe Bay; this tour leaves every day from the pictoresque port of Cacha Pregos with the high tide. Along the nord west cost of the isle you can find numerous little fishermen villages, and hidden beaches with springs of fresh water. The water is calm and protected. You could go all the way to Itaparica where there is a real turistic port.
Excursions from ITaparica
From Itaparica you can take a boat, sail boat or Catamaran to the surrounding islands in the Bay of all Saints.
